Weekend At ApollyCon

After spending a wonderful weekend at ApollyCon in Philly, I thought I might just post about how the event was. So the whole thing was a launch party for Jennifer L. Armentrout's The Return, but it also consisted of a signing with a bunch of really awesome authors. I had an amazing time going around and getting my books, ApollyCon bag, and swag signed. I also had the honor to meet and talk to some super sweet authors!

I only ended up buying 6 books (weirdly enough, I didn't buy any Armentrout books). I got Oceanborn by Amalie Howard, The Fine Art of Pretending by Rachel Harris, Uninvited by Sophie Jordan, The Darkest Minds by Alexandra Bracken, Miss Me Not by Tiffany King, and See Me by Wendy Higgins.

I'm probably most excited about Oceanborn because I absolutely adored Waterfell. It was one of the most unique and entertaining books I had ever read. And I know that this book actually came out a while ago, but for some reason I hadn't got the chance to buy it until now. And Amalie Howard is ridiculously amazing and sweet, which just adds to how much I love her and her work!

The Fine Art of Pretending I'm soooo excited to read! I absolutely love books like this, and ever since I finished reading Stephanie Perkin's series, I have been desperate to get my hand on this!

The Firelight series was one of my favorites, so of course I couldn't wait to read this. The concept for this book is so clever and unique. It is sure to be an exciting read.

People just totally love this series, and it seems dark and exciting. I love dark stuff!

Tiffany King is so sweet, and this book is just so promising. It is definitely a heavy topic (suicide and depression I believe) but it is sure to be interesting.

Ireland and fantasy? Of course I picked this!

All in all, the event was fabulous, and reviews for all these books should be coming soon! Thanks for reading!
